Coombe Park

We offer comfortable accommodation in our country house set in a secluded valley near the village of Chillington in the South Hams area of South Devon.
Accommodation consists of one double bedroom with a private bath/shower room. An additional single room is available if more convenient or for an extra family member.
The double bedroom has tea/coffee making facilities, colour TV, and radio and easy chairs for relaxing.
In the summer months the outdoor swimming pool is usually available (solar heated).
There is ample parking for cars and small boats, and storage for bikes, windsurfing equipment, etc.
A public slipway for boats is a mile away at the head of Frogmore Creek, which flows into Kingsbridge and Salcombe estuaries and to the sea.
You are welcome to walk or sit in the garden and grounds or to sit by the swimming pool.
Grass walks lead from the flower gardens along the fern covered banks of a small stream and into a woodland area. In the spring, if you are lucky, you may see young badgers playing.
There is a pub providing evening meals within walking distance.
We are conveniently located between Salcombe and Dartmouth with an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the south. The South West Coastal Path is also a short drive away, while hill walking can be found on Dartmoor, which is a 45-minute drive away.
Slapton Sands and Slapton Ley Nature Reserve are a few miles away, as are the beaches of Lanacombe and East Portlemouth. There is also windsurfing at Blackpool Sands and surfing at Bigbury-on-Sea.
